CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three people were rushed to the hospital after a van crashed into a building in north Charlotte Friday morning.
According to Charlotte Fire, emergency crews responded to a crash near the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle Street just past 10 a.m. When crews arrived, they found a vehicle inside a building and began extricating two trapped people.
Officials said three people were taken to the hospital after about 15 minutes. A building inspector was called on the scene to check the stability of the structure.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
