CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The outbound lanes of Albemarle Road in east Charlotte were closed for a short period after a pedestrian was hit Wednesday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Albemarle Road and Reddman Road around 6 a.m. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital but their condition is not known at this time.
