CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you're looking for a growing city with great weather to call home, there aren't many places that can top Charlotte.
But if you're looking for a city that uses its resources properly, maybe that isn't the case. According to a new study from Wallethub, Charlotte ranked 103rd on its list of the 150 best-run cities in America.
The study measured the effectiveness of local leadership by how taxpayer money is managed and the quality of services provided by local government.
Other notable North Carolina cities were Durham (fourth), Raleigh (16th), and Greensboro (17th). The best city was Nampa, Idaho. The worst? Unsurprisingly, Washington D.C.
