CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nick Sturdivant is an anchor and reporter at WCNC Charlotte. He joined the team in October 2023.
Nick didn’t grow up far from Charlotte. He’s from High Point and has spent a majority of his career covering the Carolinas.
Before coming to the area, Nick was a weekend anchor and reporter at WNCN CBS17 News in Raleigh, North Carolina, for three years. Prior to his time there, Nick worked at WXIA 11Alive News in Atlanta, Georgia, as a reporter.
He worked at WGHP FOX 8 News as a reporter and started his on-air career at WBTW News 13 in the Myrtle Beach/Florence, South Carolina, area.
Nick started his career working behind the scenes first as a news intern and then as a Studio Production Assistant for WGHP FOX8 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He’s a 2013 graduate of High Point University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Journalism. Nick is also proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
