WCNC Charlotte nominated for 7 regional Emmy Awards

The station wants to congratulate everyone who got nominated.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Thursday evening, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced nominees for the 39th annual Nashville/Midsouth Emmy Awards. 

WCNC Charlotte is honored to say it was nominated in seven different categories, including breaking news for our coverage of the deadly officer ambush, our investigative reporting, our Weather IQ series, a health story about a father's quick actions that saved his 2-year-old's life, our ongoing Verify segments and various others for video editing and promotions.
