CHARLOTTE. N.C. -- Billy Joel is coming to Charlotte this year.
Joel will host a concert at Time Warner Cable Arena on Saturday, December 5.
The Hornets Sports & Entertainment and concert promoter Live Nation made the official announcement at the arena at 11:30 a.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10 .am.
This is Joel's first appearance in Charlotte since he and Elton John played a concert in 2009 at Time Warner Arena. With more than million records sold over the past quarter century, Billy Joel ranks as one of most popular recording artists and in history.
