CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds unveiled plans for two new attractions for its Camp Snoopy section on Thursday, including a new family-friendly roller coaster.
Camp Snoopy's new attractions for 2025 include Snoopy's Racing Railway and Charlie Brown's River Raft Blast. The park also announced new splash play zones and a camp store meet-and-greet experience for guests that features the entire "Peanuts" gang.
Snoopy's Racing Railway takes Carowinds guests on an exciting adventure as Snoopy races to deliver root beer and pizza to Camp Snoopy's mess hall, where Woodstock and his friends are causing a huge ruckus. The coaster will launch riders from 0-31 mph in seconds as it races around the track twice.
New Camp Snoopy attractions at Carowinds
Charlie Brown's River Raft Blast invites guests to hop aboard an eight-seater boat at Snoopy's swimming hole for a wild adventure the whole family will love. Riders can spray other boats with the water cannon mounted on the raft's side. This ride also includes the entire "Peanuts" cast along its path.
"We're excited to introduce the latest adventures in Camp Snoopy in 2025," Manny Gonzalez, vice president and general manager for Carowinds, said. "Our re-imagined Camp Snoopy will allow families to ride and play together, immersing them in a summer camp experience with the 'Peanuts' gang."
In addition to the new two rides, Carowinds will add new splash play zones to Camp Snoopy, which feature extra shade and water features. Carowinds will also renovate the Camp Snoopy store where guests can meet the "Peanuts" characters.
