CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Creed is heading out on tour for the first time in more than a decade.
The band just announced a new 40-city North American tour to follow its "Summer of '99" cruises next year. The "Summer of '99" tour launches July 17 and will be Creed's first tour in 12 years.
Creed will be joined by 3 Doors Down for most of the tour. Finger Eleven is scheduled to open every date. Creed will be joined by Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic and Big Wreck on select dates.
The tour includes a stop at PNC Music Pavilion on Wednesday, July 24. 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven will join Creed for their Queen City concert. The same lineup will perform in Raleigh on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024.
Creed also has tour stops scheduled for Simpsonville, South Carolina, alongside Finger Eleven and Switchfoot on July 23.
Ticket sales begin Friday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at this link. Ticket prices for the all-ages show range from $29.50 to $139.50 plus applicable service charges.
2023 has been a year of resurgence for the late '90s and early 2000s rockers. Their music has become a cult favorite among several sports teams, including the Texas Rangers, who have played Creed's hits in the clubhouse en route to the World Series. The band, which formed in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1994, has accumulated more than 1 billion streams on Spotify with its songs "Higher," "My Sacrifice," "One Last Breath" and "With Arms Wide Open."
