CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you just missed The Eagles at the Spectrum Center this week, don't worry -- there will be another chance to return to the Hotel California.
The "Long Goodbye" tour is now extended and set to continue into 2025 according to a news release from Live Nation. This time, Steely Dan will join The Eagles as a supporting act as both bands commemorate careers spanning the course of the better part of five decades.
Fans can see both bands in Charlotte again on Saturday, March 16, 2024, once again at the Spectrum Center. Doors for all shows on the tour will open at 6 p.m. with the shows starting at 7:30 p.m.
Ticket presales start on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. and run through the close of business the next day. General ticket sales start on Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.
The Eagles first formed in 1971, blending country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop into the songs making up their extensive catalog. The band has earned six GRAMMY Awards, was honored at the 2016 Kennedy Center Honors, and has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide.
The band's top songs include "Hotel California", "Tale It Easy", "Tequila Sunrise", and "Heartache Tonight". The "Greatest Hits 1971-1977" album has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide and has been certified 38 38-times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The "Hotel California" album sold nearly 32 million copies and is certified 26-times Platinum by the RIAA.
