MOORESVILLE, N.C. — ChiroLife Wellness Center held an October Fall Fest in Mooresville on Saturday afternoon. The event included tons of games, food and attractions.
The festival organizers were hopeful that the event would draw people from the diverse Mooresville community and build closer connections throughout the town.
Erin Hayden, a chiropractor at ChiroLife Wellness Center, wanted the chance to show off their new location, as well as help the community connect and interact with other local businesses.
“Wellness can mean a million different things," Hayden said. "So our goal here too, is what does wellness mean for you? Right, not just what does it mean for us? So we try to bring in everybody and do the best we can to support our community that way."
The fall festival comes on the heels of the town’s first-ever pride parade, an event that was initially met with some pushback, but ultimately went off successfully.
Alex Glass is thankful to see more events geared towards the entire community. Glass moved to Mooresville about a year ago and is looking forward to seeing more community events aimed at pulling families closer together.
“They've got something for everybody. There's family there's, you know, food drinks, games, so much fun. Love it," Glass told WCNC Charlotte. “I want where I live to be an inviting place. I want everyone to feel included and have inclusivity for every type of person and every age and everything."
