Friday, Dec. 1

UCity Lights Winter Celebration

Make your way to the University City area to kick off the holidays with a winter celebration and tree lighting. Attendees can also enjoy a ride aboard the Polar Express. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. Find more information here.

Christmas Market @ OMB

Shop for holiday finds at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery's Christmas Market, complete with over 140 vendors, cozying up to our fire pits, lights displays, festive music and more. Find more information here.

POSTPONED: Monroe's Christmas on Main

The city of Monroe's Christmas on Main has been POSTPONED from today due to forecast inclement weather. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be moved to Monday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street. The tree will be lit no earlier than 7 p.m. Find more information here.

POSTPONED: Christmas on the Court Square in Shelby

The Christmas on the Court Square events scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2 in Shelby have been canceled. The event will resume on Friday, Dec. 8 and Friday, Dec. 15. Find more information here.

Mistletoe Market @ Camp North End

The Mistletoe Market returns to Camp North End, complete with holiday pop-ups, ice skating and fun activities for all ages. Happening Dec. 2, 9 and 16. Find more information here.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Minnesota @ Spectrum Center

The Hornets are back in the Queen City on Friday as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves during the in-season tournament. Happening at 5 p.m. Tickets start at $17.50 and can be purchased here.

ACC Football Championship Game @ Bank of America Stadium

Things comes to a head at the Bank on Saturday as Florida State and Louisville compete for the ACC Football Championship title. Happening at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $75 and can be purchased here.

POSTPONED: Belmont Christmas Village

Downtown Belmont's Christmas Village has been postponed from today due to inclement weather. The event, which will feature photos with Santa, a gingerbread house content and more, will now happen on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Find more information here.

Sunday, Dec. 3

Front Porch Sundays @ Atherton Mill

Every first Sunday of the month, come out and shop with over 70 local vendors at Front Porch Sundays, complete with food trucks, live music and more. Happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is also pet-friendly! Find more information here.

ThriftCon @ The Park Expo

Over 150 vendors for ThriftCon will set up at The Park Expo and Conference Center, where attendees can dig through racks, bins, and piles for everything from "high end collectibles to absurdly discounted steals," with items spanning several decades. Find more information here.
