CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Country music legend Hank Williams Jr. will perform for all his rowdy friends in the Queen City next summer.
Williams announced he will make a stop at Charlotte's PNC Music Pavilion on Friday, Aug. 9, on his upcoming 2024 tour. Williams will have Old Crow Medicine Show open the show before taking the stage.
Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13. through Live Nation with the code "ROWDY." General on-sale tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, Dec. 15.
If you can't make it to Hank's Charlotte show, he will perform in Raleigh on Friday, May 17.
Williams' illustrious career has spanned six decades, drawing fans of country, blues and rock music to his vast catalog. Williams was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020. His most recent studio album, "Rich White Honky Blues" was his 54th release and features a collection of blues covers that were produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. Williams' alter ego, Thunderhead Hawkins, made an appearance on the album, giving longtime Hank Williams Jr. fans something new.
