CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This morning we're joined by one of the best chef's in the tar heel state. Don't just take our word for it.... Chef Andres Prussing - is one of the finalist in the N-C-R-L-A Chef Showdown. “When I hear the word finalist it makes me so proud to be thought of one of the best Chefs in the Chef Showdown” says Prussing. He adds “this year’s entry has a story behind the dish that I hope catches the judges eye.” This dish was inspired by my homeland Chile and most of the ingredients, I am proud to say came from my very own garden.”
One of the requirements of the competition is that each contestant use as many locally sourced ingredients in their dish. “I’m also happy to represent my restaurant Stoke at the Marriott City Center. At Stoke we proudly make everything from scratch in our open kitchen using local ingredients and a whole lotta soul.” There's a reason everyone at the party always gathers in the kitchen.
