The Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers have officially opened their Sugar Creek Health Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the facility.
The goal of the facility is to reduce non-emergency ER visits and make health services affordable in an area that lacks access to healthcare.
The Sugar Creek Health Center offers a variety of services to the community including primary care, behavioral health and psychiatry, health coaching and dental.
The dental services have been in high demand, making up over forty percent of the clinics use since it started providing services.
Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers offer our services on a sliding fee scale.
It’s based on household size and income and can be as low as a nominal flat fee.
With the new Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers they will continue to partner with local agencies like Shelter Health Services, Care Ring, Cabarrus Resue Mission, Mecklenburg Health Department, Sugar Creek Charter Academy, and more.
They also have mobile units capable of providing primary, preventative, and dental care to locations and families that otherwise could not get these services.
