Enjoy July 4th, 5th, and 6th at Truist Field with The Knights

It's a jam-packed summer of baseball fun in Uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Looking for a little family fun this 4th of July? Look no further than Uptown at Truist Field and spend the holiday weekend with the Charlotte Knights!  This morning Tommy Viola, the team's VP of Communications joined us to fill us in on all the fun they have planned. And Tommy wasn't alone, he was with everyone's favorite dragon "Homer"!  "we've got a jam packed week ahead that is sure to entertain your family"  says Viola.

“Baseball and fireworks go together especially on Independence Day” Says Viola.  He adds “the Sky Show is the largest July 4th fireworks show in the Southeast.” From the spectacular sparkling sights to the patriotic music, it's the obvious choice to celebrate America's birthday!  This is the tenth time since opening Truist Field in 2014... that the WBT Sky Show is happening. It's a staple of Independence Day in Charlotte. Hence why it always draws such a big crowd. Every detail of the show is curated to perfection, and each year the envelope is pushed to bring you something even more exciting.  Beside the fireworks the 208th Army Band will be in attendance as soon as gates open to play patriotic melodies throughout the night. We also will be giving away American flags to fans, and it's Military Appreciation Night presented by Titos.  “We want to remind you that this is an event, and that the remaining tickets are Standing Room Only”  says Viola.  He adds “SRO (standing room only) tickets can be found here.”  But even if you can't get in the game, you can still enjoy the fireworks..from Romare Bearden Park (right next to the field).

Friday, July 5th @ 7:04pm UPTOWN BOOM!

“If you can’t make the fourth then no worries,  we have a spectacular event on the July 5th called Uptown Boom!”  says Viola.  Skip the hustle and bustle of the 4th, join us on July 5th for Uptown BOOM! You can still enjoy a fireworks show that’s bigger and brighter than what you'd typically see at Truist Field.  You're still getting the Independence Day Weekend fireworks fun but you're missing out on the crowds. Also, why wouldn't you extend 4th of July celebrations? Luckily in 2024, you've got a whole weekend to do it!  Limited tickets remain for Picnic Area  here.  Limited tickets available for Rooftop here.  DJ Carolina X is coming out to help us start the party, we're doing an in-game concert tickets giveaway with WSOC, another American flag giveaway, and once again it's Military Appreciation Night presented by Titos. Plus, Knights players will sign autographs when gates open.

Saturday, July 6th @ 6:05pm POST-GAME FIREWORKS + PRE-GAME CATCH ON THE FIELD

As we continue to celebrate the July 4th weekend get ready for more entertainment” says Viola.   It's always such a bummer when a holiday ends, so our goal is to keep it going as long as possible. Once again, we will shoot off post-game fireworks, but what you also get with a ticket to Saturday's game is a chance to play pre-game catch on the field.  We still have fireworks every Friday and Saturday that we play at home for the rest of the season. Our full promo guide can be found here. And we promise there's something for everyone.
