CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tuesday, February 6th is "National Time to Talk About Mental Health Day," and Matt Simon from New Hope Treatment Centers joined Charlotte Today to talk about the importance of discussing mental health with your loved ones.
While it is very important to talk about your own mental health, it is also extremely important to discuss mental health with those in your life. If you notice someone in your life is acting different or reaching out less, reaching out to ask if they are okay can make a big difference.
While the stigma against mental health has gotten better, it is still important to have days like this to help others realize talking about their mental health is okay!
Plus, there are a ton of resources in our community to help with mental health.
