Founders Feast is November 8th, don’t miss it!

A celebration of the Charlotte Culinary Culture

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Founders Feast is right around the corner!
On Wednesday's show Kris Reid from the Piedmont Culinary Guild, joined us to fill us in on all the details.

Unpretentious Palate has teamed up with the Piedmont Culinary Guild (PCG) for an exciting event. PCG is hosting a "Founders Feast"  dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 8th in South End to recognize the contributions of local chefs and farmers who helped create the Charlotte culinary culture we are lucky to experience today.

The fundraising dinner will include participation from the chefs, farmers, and food advocates that set the farm-to-table standard in Charlotte, including dishes from founders of the local food movement as well as passed bites from those who followed in their footsteps. “It is so important to support our local farmers who produce life sustaining food here in the Carolinas” says Reid.  She adds “Come and join the fun and experience – Farm to Table food.”

Founders Feast will take place at the Trolley Barn (Fermentory & Food Hall), with a reception from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and plated courses beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $225. A limited number of tickets are available via Eventbrite.
