Holiday Happenings in the Queen City

Enjoy music, song and dance this holiday season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There is a lot of holiday entertainment happening in the Queen City, that you don't want to miss. 
Here to give us the 411 is El Lambert, CEO of Communities in Concert. "The Queen City is hot with activity that many people can enjoy” says Lambert.

Here are a list of upcoming events:


1: BLACK Friday Bar Crawl (Friday, November 24th), featuring the El Lambert Band. BLACK Friday ($25 Early Bird Passes. Individual Tickets start at $7.50)

2: Kirk Franklin Tribute - Gospel Sunday @ Middle C Jazz (December 10th), ($35)

3: Soulful Noel @ Booth Playhouse (December 22nd & 23rd), ($32)

Beside the upcoming event there are some Must See Events that you must attend. 

1: The Wiz (November 7th - 12th @ Belk Theatre) - This classic features the beautiful music and dancing along with a timeless storyline.

2: The Southern Christmas Show @ The Park Expo and Conference Center (November 9th-19th) – The Park Expo has housed this holiday favorite filled with over hundreds of merchants and vendors and shoppers getting ready for the Christmas holidays.

3: Brian Culbertson LIVE & The Knight Theatre (Jazz Fusion, Multi-Instrumentalist) – Brian will perform some of his and your favorite music on his Trilogy Tour.

Lastly the concert series is still in full swing and the local communities are buzzing.  “We have worked with over 150 artist and have had over 500 show and given back to the local music scene close to $200K” says Lambert.  Check out:

1: Uptown Farmers Market (Saturdays) – will have music you can jam to.

2: La Capital MX, recently did Biketoberfest – they are doing various Holiday Activations
