Join in the New Year Declutter Challenge, sponsored by Goodwill

Clear out some things you don't need and donate them to help others in our area

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — WCNC Charlotte is encouraging viewers to collect donations each week in January! Mia and Eugene are joining in on the "urge to purge" - and will even share what they’re donating - as they encourage you to do the same.

Donations to Goodwill make a difference! Not only are you providing items that can help others, but the money Goodwill makes from in store purchases go to helping people find jobs, job training and so much more.

You can’t be successful in your career if you aren’t stable in your housing, health, transportation, etc. – Goodwill helps people make ends meet so they can advance their careers and their lives!

There are more than 35 donation locations in the greater Charlotte area! New drop-off locations in Huntersville, Cornelius, Rama Road and in Albemarle. To find the location nearest you to donate, visit goodwillsp.org
