CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The 2024 baseball season is underway in Uptown Charlotte and the Knights have got you covered when it comes to fun at every turn. Tommy Viola, VP of Communications with the Knights, joined us this morning to fill us in, on all the details. “We want to invite everyone to the fun in Uptown Charlotte at the Knights Stadium – Truist Field” says Viola. He adds “the Charlotte Knights schedule is loaded with family fun things to do; it’s time to make precious memories.” Here is the what people can expect:
Tuesday, April 30 - Bark in the Ballpark presented by Obedient K-9 Academy
- First pitch at 6:05 PM
- Bring your dogs out to the ballpark, dogs are free!
- Dog the Bat Dog will be retrieving bats from our Knights players (we should bring Dog into the studio some other day)
Wednesday, May 1 – Education Day
- First pitch at 11:05 AM
- Lots of schools will be on hand
Thursday, May 2 – Thirsty Thursday and The Hungry Games
- First pitch at 7:04 PM
- Drink specials for Thirsty Thursday
- Hunger Games Style competitions throughout the night
Friday, May 3 -- (Knights Version) and Friday Night Fireworks
- First pitch at 7:04 PM
- Taylor Swift Themed
- LED Bracelet Giveaway – first 1,500 fans
- In-Game Party Club Located in Kidzone Playing Taylor Swift All Night
