CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Today's workout was centered around dumbbells, but don't let that fool you - you still get a great workout!

This morning we were joined by Motivational Fitness Coach, Meghan Trainor...who walked us through it all step by step.

"Dumbbells don't have to be expensive and it's recommended that you own a light pair to aid you in your workouts" says Trainor. She add "dumbbells add just enough resistance to work the individual muscle groups."

The exercises Trainor shared today, will get your heart rate up and build muscle. You will start to feel it everywhere from your shoulders, biceps, abdominals, quads, hamstrings, glutes and more. It is recommended that you do each exercise 45sec with 15sec rest and repeat the workout at least 2-3 times.

These exercises will keep you fully engaged.

Total Body Dumbbell workout includes:

Exercise 1: Cross body Crunch – works the abdominal and back area.

Exercise 2: Oblique Crunch - targets the obliques.

Exercise 3: Assisted Side Planks – get ready for those shoulders, abdominals, lats quads and deltoids to burn while you perform this exercise.

Exercise 4: Turkish Get ups – Works the triceps and engages abdominals and glutes.

Exercise 5: T- Crunch  – total lower body exercise gets the hips , shoulders and abdominals involved.
