This Wellness Wednesday, Alzheimer's advocates are pushing North Carolina lawmakers to provide more funding and support for their cause. New numbers show more than 20 thousand people here in North Carolina have Alzheimer's. Advocates are now requesting the state to update its dementia capable plan, which provides help for clinical trials and treatment every four years. They are asking for more funding to support the caregivers as well.
