"Of Good Nature" Band performing this Friday, at Amos Southend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Today in our musical spotlight we featured the incredible sound of “Of Good Nature" Band.

Singer, songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist Cameron Brown told us: “..we have been putting in work for (10-12years) a very long time and developing our sound”. Brown adding “our music and sound has a very unique and nice fusion blend.”

Of Good Nature (OGN) incites and unites listeners with a fusion-friendly approach to today’s music, uncovering a highly accessible sound that concentrates on positive and feel-good lyrics, uplifting energy and technical musicianship, packed into a potent blend of alternative, soul, world, rock, groove, and reggae. OGN’s unique style and ever-evolving sound is implemented through soulful vocal melodies, technical drumming, and brass instruments, creating extraordinary and excitingly passionate music that is expressed on the stage and on the record. The band consist of Cameron Brown (Guitar & Vocals), Brandon Hucks (Trombone), Clifton Bundick IV (Bass), David Hamilton Jr (Shaker & Percussion) and Zach Wheeler (Saxophone).

A year ago in May 2023, OGN released “Don’t Give Up” featuring Shwayze, achieving over 100k streams in its first two weeks, and was added to Spotify-curated playlist Beach Vibes, as well as other major platform playlists. In Fall 2022, OGN released the first of its double-EP concept,"Input".... containing the hit singles “Open Your Mind", "I'll Fly", “Save the World”, and “Don’t Give Up” featuring Mihali of Twiddle and “Looking For It” featuring Little Stranger and Tropidelic.

In 2023, the band performed live for the fourth time on 'Sail Across the Sun 2023', Train's destination music festival at sea, joining Train, Fitz and The Tantrums, G. Love, Travie McCoy, and more. Also, the band performed across the United States on the national Spring Fling Tour with Shwayze. OGN has shared the stage and supported other acts such as Michael Franti & Spearhead, Twiddle, Allen Stone, Blues Traveler, and Dirty Heads. “We don’t just do music but are also active in the community” says Brown. He adds “we have partnered with groups like Nourish Up to help raise money and feed the hungry in the charlotte community.” The local band plays in and around charlotte and ae releasing their latest song Better Me.

This week on Friday march 8th the band will be performing at Amos Southend. The music starts at 8pm. Tickets are still available. You can follow them on Instagram at Of Good Nature or visit their website OfGoodNature.com.
