The Charlotte International Arts Festival is an annual celebration of imaginative visual and performing arts from the most creative international and local minds. Fun for everyone, from families to individuals, we invite you to stay awhile, play, and welcome curiosity as we begin to see our city through new eyes. With over 200 attractions, many for free, this festival has something for everyone.
The Festival is back for its third year. Blumenthal Arts takes over Charlotte for 17 days in locations Uptown, in Ballantyne, and a new location, the new Blume Studios in the Iron District. Fun for everyone, including families.
Many events are free, including a multitude of art installations all over the city by visiting artists and local artists alike, including the Blumenthal Fellows; pop-up music performances on a variety of stages; and ticketed events including concerts, family shows, and more.
They are also partnering this year with many festivals that have their own followings in Charlotte, including the Festival of India, Latin American Festival, Festival in the Park, Le Diner en Blanc, CharlOz – the list goes on.
