The importance of daily reading with kids

Reach out and Read is still honoring their Giving Tuesday campaign where you get a free "Jabari Tries”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — According to the Reach Out and Read website, The Reach Out and Read intervention is unique for its unparalleled access to children through the medical home, supporting families through the trusted voice of the medical provider.

At Reach Out and Read, they believe all families should have the tools and information they need to make reading aloud together a daily routine.

They know shared reading can help develop strong parent-child bonds that last a lifetime, buffering toxic stress and building resiliency.  Literacy is a critical skill and early childhood is the critical time for equipping children for a lifetime of success.

Reach Out and Read is still honoring their Giving Tuesday initiative with FREE “Jabari Tries” books with each $10 donation. This amazing initiative runs through December 15th.
