In today's entertainment spotlight we caught up with actor 'Finn Haney' and actor, "William Chris Sumpter' from the Highly Acclaimed Coming-of-Age Film 'What We Find on the Road." In the new coming-of-age film, “What We Find on the Road,” TJ (Finn) receives a key from his estranged ex-con father on his 18th birthday. The key unlocks a ’68 convertible and a challenge to drive across America - in hopes of repairing his family. TJ (Finn) is learning to embrace the struggles presented on the constantly shifting turns of the road ahead in the new comedy-of-age drama, ‘What We Find on the Road.’ TJ (Finn) in the film is receiving help from his friends as he strives to overcome his fears of reuniting with his estranged father, who’s serving a long prison sentence.
The film earned critical acclaim and won several awards, including a Gold Remi Award at the World-Fest Houston International Film Festival and Best Dramatic Feature Film at the L.A. Independent Filmmakers Showcase. “We were thrilled to receive these awards and I got to portray one of TJs best friends in the film” said Sumpter. “This was a first for me being a lead actor in a film” says Haney.
