CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Huntersville neighborhood got hosed on the 4th of July.
The fire department turned a street into a spray park on Thursday.
"Today Station 2 visited the Stephens Grove neighborhood for a wet-down as is tradition! #July4th #IndependenceDay #OneTownOneTeam #BlackOverRed," the post read.
Pictures showed firefighters spraying water high in the air over an intersection, and kids and adults alike enjoying the cool treat.
