Someone needs to teach Charlotte some manners. At least, according to a survey conducted by Travel and Leisure.
The South is known for its down-home charm and hospitality. So how could it be that any city in the region is considered one of the rudest in America?
According to the self-described “one-stop resource for sophisticated travelers who crave travel tips, news and information about the most exciting destinations in the world," the Queen City ranks No. 14 in the 15 rudest cities in America.
The author goes on to say this about the Charlotte results:
“Maybe travelers just ran into a bunch of stressed out Charlotte residents at the airport. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is an airport you definitely want to avoid in the summer, and nothing makes people ruder than a flight delay. If you want to play nice with the locals, however, cheer on the Panthers at D9 Brewing Co.’s taproom.”
