HICKORY, N.C. -- Home and Garden television may be spending a lot more time in the Tar Heel state.
A pilot episode of Carolina Reno aired on HGTV Saturday night. The episode featured siblings San Te and Roxy Te Owens bringing their unique style and custom furniture from their family's factory to a ranch house transformation in their hometown of Hickory.
Te Owens was quick to point out they are not like most HGTV shows "We are just buying houses and flipping them, we are working with real families to help make their forever homes really forever homes."
One unique aspect to the show is all of the furniture used comes from their own family business based in Hickory, the show itself takes place in and around the Hickory area.
"The duo sets out to create an open, livable space with projects in a cramped kitchen, completely unused room and a backyard with zero access," HGTV said.

The project/episode finished with HGTV's version of a cherry on top, an expansive deck the owners have wanted for over a decade.
"If the pilot gets picked up for series, HGTV will make an announcement at that time," HGTV Public Relations Manager Chelsey Riemann said.
The pilot will re-air a second time on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1pm. After that HGTV will decide whether to continue with the show.
