You've welcome Larry Sprinkle into your home for 30 years, so maybe it's time you get to know him a little better!
1. Larry started at a radio station in Rutherford County at 14 years old. He began as the janitor, but one day the music stopped while he was cleaning up and he jumped on the air.
2. Larry loves all creatures, which isn't a secret. When he's done with this weather thing though, he'd like to have an entire farm with all of his favorite farm animals.
3. He was the Ty-D-Bol man in national commercials.
4. Larry can do tons of impressions and is probably best known for Elvis.
5. He volunteers most of his weekends to help raise awareness for community events and to help draw big crowds. Everyone loves Larry!
He's gotten us through severe weather and has made our mornings, and the community, a little brighter. Larry is celebrating 30 years at NBC Charlotte this month and to acknowledge the milestone, you can catch the entire Larry Sprinkle special on Saturday at 7 p.m.
