PICS: Babies celebrating their first Halloween

These special babies are celebrating the holiday from the Atrium Health Levine Children’s neonatal intensive care unit.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Health care providers at Atrium Health Levine Children’s neonatal intensive care unit are helping some of the newest of children celebrate their first Halloween.

Dressed in costume, the babies are celebrating in style as the very hungry caterpillar, an M&M, Dorothy and the lion from the Wizard of Oz, Spiderman, and Paw Patrol.

The babies, who were born premature and are receiving care in the Charlotte hospital's NICU, are wearing costumes donated by Preemies of the Carolinas. The festive outfits are intended to help families celebrate the holiday in the hospital with their child.
