CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds' annual holiday festival 'WinterFest' begins Friday. The theme park will be decked out in thousands of shimmering Christmas lights.
Park guests will be able to walk through light displays, ice skate, see festive live entertainment, eat holiday-inspired food and more. This year, the park is introducing the interactive WinterFest Wonder Wand and other unique experiences.
Each night of WinterFest, there is a parade at 9 p.m. with live dancing, colorful floats and Santa Claus.
You can buy tickets online.
A list of available attractions, including rides and coasters, is also available on the Carowinds website.
WinterFest continues through January 1.
