NORTH CAROLINA, USA — In a recent study, North Carolina received seventh place in the best states to succeed in business.
The top two best states are Florida and Texas, which the study attributed to workers with higher education relocating to those states.
New York and California are among the 10 worst states for business, with Connecticut falling in dead last.
North Carolina has seen a 3.8% increase in jobs, a 13.8% increase in consumer spending, and almost 50,000 educated workers moving to the state.
North Carolina startups also have a 51.6% survival rate.
The study, conducted by Harrington Group International, specified many of these increases have been due to some states handling the post-pandemic economic uncertainty better than others.
