CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Queen's Feast, which is what Charlotte's restaurant week is called, returns in July with over 100 restaurants offering discounted meals to customers looking to try something new.
Queen's Feast runs from Friday, July 19, through Sunday, July 28. This summer's promotion features over 100 Charlotte-area restaurants with prix fixe menus ranging from $30 to $50 per person. Participating restaurants are located in Cabarrus, Catawba, Gaston, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Stanly, Union and York counties.
There are more than a dozen first-time participants this summer, including Midtown's 3rd & Fernwood. Uptown eateries The Bella Ciao, Pisco Gastrolounge and Spice Charlotte are also taking part in this summer's Queen's Feast. For those looking to expand outside the Queen City, other new restaurants include Hickory's Cranford Brothers Barbue, Clover Harvest in Clover and Fin & Fino-Birkdale in Huntersville.
Queen's Feast has been a Charlotte staple since 2008, providing restaurants the opportunity to showcase their menus to new customers at discounted prices. The prix fixe deals are offered in January and July, giving customers a chance to try something new without paying full price for a single course.
"Diners can treat themselves and share the fun with friends and family, all at some tasty prices," Bruce Hensley, a partner in Hensley Fontana Public Relations, which owns the promotion, said. "It's a great opportunity to have a culinary adventure around the metro."
