CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Douglas International Airport is changing its drive-up parking rates for all lots and decks.
Airport officials said the changes come in response to "substantial local passenger growth" as well as the expansion of parking facilities at the airport. The airport's parking facilities are currently full or near capacity due to that passenger growth, and airport officials said Charlotte-area traffic to the parking facilities has increased 30% since spring 2023.

In light of the passenger growth, airport officials recommend passengers reserve a parking spot ahead of time through parkCLT.com or using the CLT Airport app. The online services can also have better rates, according to the airport. The changes go into effect on Nov. 6.
