CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s March which means spring is right around the corner. If the change in temperatures has you itching to get outside and shop, you’re in luck! Here are some of the best things to buy this month according to AARP:
Luggage
Retailers are discounting last year’s luggage to make room for new inventory for the summer traveling season. AARP predicts potential savings of 30-60% at certain retailers.
Cleaning supplies
Just in time for spring-cleaning, AARP says retailers are slashing prices on both cleaning equipment like vacuums as well as everyday cleaning supplies.
You could potentially save up to 30% on cleaning equipment and 10-20% on cleaning supplies.
Beauty products
Entering a new season means a shift in beauty routines and color palettes.
It’s why retailers discount winter products now to make way for next season’s new inventory. Potential savings range from 25-50%.
Golf clubs and accessories
Retailers are looking to sell existing inventory and anything left over from last year ahead of spring and summer. AARP projects savings of up to 10% at certain retailers.
Heaters
AARP predicts both space heaters and patio heaters will be on sale this month as demand lessens in the warmer months.
According to AARP, retailers are extremely motivated to sell any inventory they have left so expect to see clearance-level discounts of 40–60% off.
