Don't wait for Black Friday. Buying these 3 items now can get you a better deal

Savvy shoppers know about Black Friday deals. But these items can be had for a better price before the holiday shopping season hits full swing.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Just about everything is more expensive these days due to inflation, which is why it's more important than ever to save money where you can.

While most savvy shoppers tend to count on Black Friday and Cyber Monday to score the best deals of the holiday season, there are quite a few bargains worth shopping right now. The following three items can be had for better prices than on Black Friday, according to the comparison shopping website DealNews

Here are the best things to buy before Black Friday

1. Halloween items

Once a holiday passes, anything related to that holiday tends to go on sale immediately. DealNews reports that you can find discounts of up to 75% on Halloween candy, costumes and home decor.

If you've had your eye on something but haven't bought it yet, now could be a great time to make that purchase.

2. Wedding dresses

November is a great time to get a deal on a wedding dress because retailers need to make room for 2023 designs. Expect potential savings of up to 40% off and double that for dresses on the clearance rack.
