CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte remains one of the hottest housing markets in the country.
Let's connect the dots.
Zillow released its prediction of the top 10 markets of 2022, listing Charlotte as number five, Raleigh as number three and Tampa as number one.
Zillow says Charlotte placed as high as it did because of a combination of strong forecast home value growth and strong economic fundamentals, like high job growth, fast-moving inventory and lots of potential buyers.
Zillow says the typical home value is $330,000 and it expects values to rise 21% this year.
Forbes says Charlotte has the most affordable housing and most mild weather. But despite all the rosy predictions, analysts say sellers should be prepared for pickier buyers. And overpricing may end up hurting you.
