CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nearly half of college students think their college isn't doing all it should to help students when it comes to understanding personal finance, according to a student survey from WalletHub.
The survey, shared earlier this month, found the top fear for students is they won't be able to find a job. Of those surveyed, 39% ranked that as their top fear for post-graduation.

Next in line is student loan debt: 35% ranked that as biggest fear for after college. Two other fears tied at 13%: Having credit card debt and living with their parents.
Another trend stands out, and it has to do with why students choose to study specific topics.
WalletHub said about 46% of the surveyed students said the goal is to make as much money as possible in their professions, instead of pursuing what they are passionate about.
The overwhelming majority of students in the survey said they aren't regretting their choice to pursue higher education. Around 75% said they believe the thousands spent on tuition is still well-spent money.
When zooming out to look at where parents come in, the survey found about 54% of students said a parent's debt has negatively impacted them.
