CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jasmine Hall was a single mother with two young children. At the time, she was in so much debt she decided to take her kids and move back home to start all over again.
When she made that decision, she had $14,000 in credit card debt and $11,000 in car debt. On her journey to dig out of financial debt, Hall became determined to create a foundation to help others also reach real financial freedom.
To make it possible, Hall first got her real estate license. She then saved enough money to buy a triplex home. Since her tenants paid her mortgage, her expenses dropped consistently. She became more involved in real estate and more involved in helping others. Hall founded Generational Wealth Educators, which she calls GWE, in 2021.
GWE helps its members overcome obstacles by providing mental health guidance and the tools to build financial wealth. The organization is also dedicated to helping high school students transition into adulthood. This is through a special program for rising juniors and seniors called Future Leaders Academy. Hall does all of this is because GWE is dedicated to creating an impact in the community and closing the wealth gap.

"The hardest part was getting out of my own way, logging into that therapy session and telling everything I was going through," Hall said. "Once I was able to get over that, my self-sabotaging stopped."
Hall said the confidence she gained made everything fall into place. That confidence has allowed her to help other people get back on their feet.
One way she has spread that confidence is through a webinar called the Prosperity Learning Center.
"It’s a call to action for small business, for our youth, and small income families," she said, "to bring back that happy life and let people know that you want to create."
She said Generational Wealth Educators help people identify their purpose in society. She said it helps them manage their personal finances by understanding how the economy actually works. This gives their members the ability and the knowledge to create the passive income and wealth needed for a more fulfilling life.
