CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department just announced the passing of one of their beloved police K-9s.
According to police, Owen lost his battle with cancer Tuesday morning.
CMPD said Owen worked at the Charlotte Airport and made a huge impact on finding narcotics and stopping the trade.
K-9 Owen will be dearly missed.
