CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is seriously injured after being shot early Saturday morning, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed.
CMPD said officers responded to an assault with deadly weapon call around 4:30 a.m. along Seigle Avenue near Plaza Midwood. The department said the victim was taken to the hospital by MEDIC with serious injuries.
