CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was shot near Garinger High School on Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3 p.m. in the 900 block of Eastway Dr.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers said they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
There were no suspects in custody, according to CMPD.
Just before 6 p.m. Friday, there was another shooting in the 2000 block of Dundeen St.
One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
A third shooting happened Friday around 10 p.m. in the 8400 block of Parkland Circle. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
Police said two men entered an apartment and confronted another man who was shot.
