2 wanted in robbery of Loomis Armored Truck employee
CMPD is searching for two men wanted in armored truck robbery.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charllotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a Loomis Armored Truck employee

Police said on Friday around 1:30 p.m. two armed suspects robbed a Loomis Armored Truck employee in the 6400 block of Albemarle Road in the parking lot of Bank of America.

The armed suspects approached the employee and demanded money at gunpoint. Once the suspects received money, they then both fled the scene on foot, according to police.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his late 30's, approximately 5'10" in height and 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black hoodie and jeans.

The second suspect is described as approximately 5'9", heavier build, and wearing a black trench style jacket with black pants.

Loomis is now offering an additional reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these suspects, in addition to the Crime Stoppers reward.
