CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A gun store in south Charlotte was burgled by unknown suspects early Tuesday morning, according to a report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 4 a.m. Tuesday, an unknown number of suspects broke into Carolina Sporting Arms on South Boulevard. According to the incident report, the suspects stole 20 firearms from the store, including a Smith & Wesson rifle, a Smith & Wesson shotgun and 18 different types of pistols.
This is an active investigation. The suspects face felony breaking or entering, burglary and larceny charges.
