CONCORD, N.C. — One person was killed outside a 7-Eleven convenience store in Concord early Wednesday morning, police said.
Concord Police responded to an incident at the 7-Eleven just off Harris Road, near the Skybrook Golf Club, early Wednesday. There is no threat to the public and everyone connected to the investigation has been identified, according to Concord Police.
Later on Wednesday, Concord police arrested and charged 23-year-old Salverio Campagna with the murder of 38-year-old Michael Pride, Jr.
Campagna is being held without bond at Cabarrus County Jail.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Concord Police Department immediately.
