BOILING SPRING LAKES, N.C. — An Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old girl has been canceled.
On Monday, the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department issued an Amber Alert for the little girl. Tuesday morning, the state canceled the Amber Alert. Police said she is safe.
Boiling Spring Lakes is about 200 miles east of Charlotte near Carolina Beach and Oak Island.
She was believed to be with her grandmother. The two were last seen leaving 210 South Shore Drive in Southport Sunday afternoon.
