CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An arrest has been made for the murder of a teen shot in a Charlotte parking lot.
Charlotte officers arrested Miguel Angel Zelaya, 19, on Friday.
Police say evidence gathered during the investigation allowed them to identify Zelaya as the suspect in 17-year-old Jose Ibarra's death.
Investigators found him in an apartment on Lakemist Drive, where he was originally taken into custody for an unrelated robbery warrant.
Zelaya was charged following an interview with detectives.
