Anson County man charged with arson, records show

Worley Henley Jr. is being held under a $1 million bond for a house fire investigators allege he intentionally set.

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — An Anson County man is accused of intentionally setting fire to a home in Morven on Monday, court records show. 

Worley Henley Jr., 54, is charged with first-degree arson in connection with a fire at a home on North Church Street on Monday, Nov. 4. Henley is being held in the Anson County jail with a $1 million bond, records show. 

Anson County officials haven't released any further details. WCNC Charlotte has reached out to the Anson County Fire Marshal for more information about this investigation.
