Man shot while inside car, CMPD says

Medic said the person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was seriously hurt in a north Charlotte shooting early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Atando Avenue and North Graham Street, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.

The victim was shot in the back of the head while sitting in a car, according to CMPD. Medic said that person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, no arrests have been made.
